Logan Kart 0.8.0

Introducing Logan Kart 0.8.0, featuring (finally) some new courses and minimaps! There's an experimental Android version also available for download, but it's a pretty crude port, so don't expect a polished experience.

Changelog:

• Three new tracks for more course variety! Access them from Time Trials or VS Race.
• A minimap! (Turn it on or off in the options menu)
• An experimental Android build.
• Bullet bills should be more reliable.
• Improved AI pathfinding on some courses; should make them more difficult.
• A few changed settings in the options menu, including an option to toggle VSync.
• Removed motion blur, since nobody used it and it looked ugly.
• Fixed at least one spelling error.
• ...and probably more!

Thank you to anybody who has been helping get the Logan Kart name out there. I can't talk with everyone personally but this game exceeded my wildest expectations.

"Offshore" is live!

Introducing 9064's Offshore, a simple platforming game featuring "Jimmy II" traversing an impractically designed, impossibly large offshore oil platform. Can you make it to the top before time runs out?

Some of you may recognize this game... this game was created over the past year or so as an entry for a national student competition, where it won eighth place. Part of that competition's regulations included that the game be playable in 15 minutes or less, so this game is anything but long. The story and writing could definitely use a complete overhaul, but the game is nevertheless fairly solid and interesting to play.

Logan Kart Update

I know some of you want to see a new Logan Kart update soon, but I've been away for a awhile so progress has been slow.
Some people are still experiencing game controller problems; I can't help everyone, since every controller is different, but there is a controller diagnostic screen accessible by holding down backslash and P which allows you to see the axis values, and find any abnormalities that result in clunky behavior (particularly on the character select screen, or when trying to drive in a straight line).
Logan Kart 0.8.0 will likely be released very soon (within the next week or two), so stay tuned. The goal is still to get the game to a more or less completed state by the end of this year.
