Today is the one-year anniversary of the original release of Logan Kart 8 on Game Jolt. Thousands of views and a surprisingly small amount of updates later, we made it!
I know that some of you may be disappointed by the lack of promptness in pushing out new updates for Logan Kart.
I really want to improve Logan Kart, but the code is pretty old and many of the game systems require a complete overhaul. It's been taking much longer than expected and has experienced multiple brief hiatuses since last summer, but the update is still on its way! With the school year winding to an end, it is hoped that the speed of development will pick up. Unfortunately, though, my main hard drive is failing and I have to replace it, which is just going to make the update take even longer. The plan is still to release an update early this summer, and functionally complete the game before 2016 ends.
I've been asked a number of times about releasing the OST. Although this is something that I know I would like to do eventually for sure, the OST is technically incomplete as some of the unreleased tracks still lack music. That process is still ongoing, but I will release the soundtrack as soon as it is completed.
