Logan Kart 0.9.0

It's here!

For somewhat late Christmas, I present Logan Kart 0.9.0, the first update in over a year for Logan Kart 8.

Features include:

• Three new tracks: The Moon, Construction Zone, and Refracted Light Boulevard.
• You can now play the entire Very Special Cup grand prix.
• Three new karts: The bulldozer, the tractor, and the sporty "Maserghini"
• One new item: The decently rare "Golden Shell," which is basically the golden mushroom mixed with a green shell.
• Kart resetting is significantly faster, and actually puts you facing the right way!
• Every race class is a little bit faster.
• The suspension physics (and physics in general) were tweaked. Whether this is for better or worse is yet to be seen.
• New app icon.
• And bunch of little things added over the course of a year that I can't remember right now.

Expect the final 1.0 release sometime in the next month. This game is so old that its code is too convoluted to add any new major features since I originally created it when I was just learning Unity. If there are any glaring issues, then I would appreciate feedback so I can (attempt to) fix them for 1.0.
I still wouldn't trust the Android version. It's been having problems.

Logan Kart December 2016 Development Update

I am pleased to present some fantastic news regarding Logan Kart development.

Version 0.9 has been scheduled for a late December 2016 release (very soon!). It will feature three new karts, at least three new tracks, and some general gameplay fixes that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Version 1.0 will likely follow in January. This will likely be the final release, featuring all 16 tracks.

Here's some screenshots of two new tracks:

The Moon is a track with winding curves and branching paths.

Notice the improved quality of the track layouts and geometry. A few years makes a difference!

Refracted Light Boulevard is a long, winding track, so there's only two laps.

With jumps, boost pads, and a lack of barriers, be careful not to fall off!

I can't believe that it's been so long since the initial release, so it's very exciting that this game will actually soon be completed! Keep an eye out for the update over the next several weeks.
