Logan Kart August 2017 Update

I know I said I'd release the 1.0 version in August, but clearly that isn't going to be the case anymore. That being said, progress is coming along nicely, and I still fully expect a release soon, most likely in September, and I'd like to show off some of the progress that's being made to show that I'm not doing nothing.

First off, here's I-5 Loop, which is almost completed. It's one of the longest tracks in the game and one of the few based on a real-world location (with plenty of artistic liberty taken of course).

The complexity of this track alone is essentially the sole reason why the update is taking so long; just the geometry alone was completed over a span of about a month.

That being said, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out and I think it'll be a lot of fun. I've linked a video featuring a beta version of this track at the end of this post.

The other two tracks are Waluigi Vending Machine and Sea-Tac Circuit. The basic layouts of each are complete, and both are undergoing aesthetic finalization, so they look a bit barren right now.

Not to mention that 1.0 also features plenty of new and updated content, particularly in the sound effects and visual effects departments. Even older tracks look better than ever!

Here's a video of a lap around I-5 Loop:

If you're still here, thanks for sticking around! I hope you all can understand that this is not something I can work constantly on all the time and projections and workloads are always changing. Logan Kart 1.0 is just over the horizon, and after it's completed there are lots of other cool projects we've been waiting to show off, so stay tuned!
